Today, the House of Commons unanimously decided to suspend its sittings until April 20th due to the rapidly expanding scope of the COVID-19 Virus. Going forward, I will not be attending public events and will be doing most of my work over the phone, by Skype/Facetime or by teleconferencing. My office staff in the constituency and in Ottawa will still be available to assist constituents by telephone (604)557-7888 or by email ed.fast@parl.gc.ca. Until further notice, my constituency staff will be taking “in office” meetings by appointment only.I am asking my constituents to follow all precautions recommended by Health Canada and make every effort to practice “social distancing” and avoid unnecessary contact with others.
